"Cruz-in the Runway" - 2003
Every Wednesday Night, all Summer long, at Pearson Air Museum, Vancouver, WA.
Back by popular demand, the weekly event for the car, plane and motorcycle enthusiast, Pearson Air Museum hosts the Vancouver/Portland area car and rod clubs on the grounds of the historic Pearson airfield. Bring your pre-1973 show car, antique, motorcycle, airplane or any year specialty car (Corvette, Viper, Lambourgini, etc.) and your friends for a lively evening of tire-kicking, music, beverage and food. Expect to see at least 300 show cars and bikes each week. Sponsors include Baxters Auto parts, Les Schwab Tire, TNT, Newton Enterprises, and MAACO of Vancouver. Dozens of Raffle Prizes given each event, and each kid under 12 gets a prize from the Treasure Chest. Nominal $3 per carload fee for show cars, and walk-in attendees welcome with $3 admission per person. (Driving direction bottom page 2)
Opening Night (July 2, 2003) of the Annual Wednesday Nite "Cruz-in the Runway" event hosted by Pearson Air Museum. The weather was perfect and over 420 show cars and 85 motorcyles attended.
They came in mass, to visit, look at the cars and planes........
